Nobody asked and nobody cares but here’s me associating Madoka Magica characters with Sonic characters

As the title says, I realized I don’t have to bother my friends with my musings when I could just ramble on tumblr :D !! I mean someone on this hellsite is bound to have the same interests as me. Anyways without further ado,

Madoka Kaname - Amy Rose

“Oh you just picked them cause they’re both pink!!” Maybe but also listen; think about Amy’s speech to Shadow in SA2

She says something along the lines of “people are basically good and as long as they keep believing in their wishes, they’ll always be happy!” (paraphrasing I can’t be bothered to find the script rn) Now compare that to Madoka’s wish to stop all despair and to “not lose hope and remember someone out there is always fighting for you!” (again paraphrasing). My point is that they both believe in the goodness of people/people deserve a chance and that they have love to spare.

The one digression I have with this comparison is that Amy said “if I had to choose between the world and Sonic I’d choose Sonic” which doesn’t feel like something Madoka would align herself with (but I do think she’d respect Amy’s choice) rather she’d choose EVERYONE none of this “person or the world” bs, instead this feels very in character for Homura but overall I think there are more similarities between Madoka and Amy + I think they would be friends <3

Homura Akemi - Agent Stone

Y’all are just going to have to hear me out with this one

Honestly it was easier to figure out who she wasn’t so I’ll start with that

Shadow - I know people would want me to put her with Shadow because of similar aesthetics and angst etc. BUT ☝️ there is one major digression between them that I fear cannot be overlooked for the sake of aesthetics and that’s that Shadow actually respects Maria’s wishes.

Consider these two scenes and how these images appear similar but ended VERY differently.

Shadow, quite literally, let’s go of Maria after he says “I will continue to fight with your wish in my heart, your wish for everyone to have a chance to be happy” He’s healing from his grief and moving forward with light and peace and hope

Homura on the other hand, does almost the exact opposite. She can tell that Madoka isn’t happy and goes against her wishes, quite literally rips apart space time, so her gf doesn’t have to deal with the burden of being God, even if that is what she wishes for.

So while yes, both Homura and Shadow are driven by their love and grief for another character Homura cares more about being with Madoka than moving on and living with her wish

Silver - this was the other character I considered for her but tbh Silver actually cares about the timeline, he’s not ripping apart the universe for one person 💀

So this brings us to my actual choice; whose character is defined by their association and loyalty to another? Whose character cares deeply about protecting and serving the other, and basically no one else? Whose character only exist as a response to another? My goat, AGENT STONE 🗣️🗣️🗣️

My main point is that yes, Stone would tear apart the universe to be with Robotnik if he knew he could (manifesting crashout Stone in Sonic 4🤞). Stone waited for months because he believed in Robotnik and when he failed he didn’t just leave him there, he scooped him up and nursed him back to health and built a hiding space for them, like WHAT . Homura went through countless loops trying to protect and save Madoka and Stone would do so too.

TL;DR Stone would do the same as Homura in the same circumstances and no other character would + I just think Stone would like her lmao, all in comment sections talking about “she did nothing wrong!!!”

Sayaka Miki - Shadow

Yeah this only makes sense to me,,

LISTEN!!! Listen,,, they’re both driven by love for another character.

The most important person to them was an ailing loved one and was the reason they were created: Shadow being made by Gerald to find a cure/be the cure for Maria’s illness and Sayaka, the magical girl, being “created” after she made the wish so Kyosuke can play violin again. I feel like this is where the very specific similarities end but there’s still some more to be compared.

For example they both fight because of their association with said loved one. I’ve already talked enough about how Shadow fights with Maria’s love and wish in his heart so about Sayaka

Sayaka was willing to, essentially risk it all just so Kyosuke could pursue his passion again and she could be there to witness it, she sees herself as the hero in this situation (evident by her white cape and how she kinda expected to be thanked/rewarded for her decision which imo was kinda valid but that’s another topic). Also small note about the hero thing is that Shadow after he realized Maria’s wish almost INSTANTLY switched sides, and despite some healthy rivalry has never been against siding with the heroes, and Sayaka was more than willing to become a magical girl even after seeing the risks, so yeah hero things

The last of my compassion ends with Sayaka’s ending and how she basically said “I guess I just wanted to hear him play for one last time” and how she was finally content (sort of) in her wish and how things played out. This is kinda similar to Shadow moving on from Maria in Shadow Generations and I guess my point is they’d both rather see their loved ones just, being, for one last time before deciding to let go and be the hero again !!

Kyoko Sakura - Knuckles

“They’re just both red and angry !!” Yeah that’s it ngl 💔💔

Jokes aside I do feel there are some general personality traits they share, having to do with their families

Kyoko makes a wish so people will believe her father and her own family can be better off while Knuckles has inherited the burden of protecting the Master Emerald. They both feel a sense of responsibility to their families and their role in them, which both end kind of tragically (going more off of Movie Knuckles here)

Aside from that they both prefer to do their own things and kinda be alone. I mean Knuckles does team up quite often but in his downtime he’d rather be pacing around the Master Emerald (going more off game Knuckles here) and obviously Kyoko is only doing things for herself by herself but in the end teams up and even grows close to her rivals (like the in the Rebellion movie)

Plus they’re both stubborn and a bit hot headed but ultimately will do the right thing (sorry this one is shorter I had to retype it cause Tumblr didn’t save it the first time </3)

Mami Tomoe - Maria Robotnik

(No pictures for them cause I hit the ten image limit on mobile and can’t access on a computer rn and honestly don’t feel like editing the whole post. You know what they look like)

Listen, there’s not a ton to go off for either of them so I’m working with what I have. Basically nicest sweetest blonde ally of main character (ish) dies as an inciting incident and that’s nearly it.

I do think frequently about Kyubey appearing very conveniently when Mami got into the car accident and it makes me wonder if Maria would’ve done the same. I mean we know she wanted to live on Earth and experience it as a whole so I don’t think it’s that much of a stretch to say she’d make a wish to live too? And Mami also mentioned about being lonely and I wonder if Maria felt similarly. Obviously she had Shadow and Gerald but she didn’t have any other super deep connections with others on the Ark.

So aside from dying and loneliness as shared traits, I think it also has to do with how they value human life, Maria wishing to save Earth and Mami fighting as a magical girl.

You always loved it when you woke up in the morning, and looked at him still asleep in awe. How can there be a human who looks so stunning?

Stroking his hair, you always say good morning as soon as you see him start to open his eyes. The birds are chirping, and you both are still rotting in bed.

But saying goodbye was never in your vision. The ‘in the end, everyone you’ve ever loved will became a lesson’ was never be your wish. But you can't deny that not falling for sweet words is a lesson for you.

💭 —

MBTI || Atlas is an INTJ-A and Alastair is an INTJ-T.

The INTJ-A (or “Architect”) personality is characterized by being introverted, intuitive, thinking, and judging, making them strategic, analytical, and independent thinkers who value logic and systems.

The INTJ-T (or “Turbulent”) personality is characterized by being success-driven, perfectionistic, and eager to improve, often noticing small problems and striving for constant improvement.

💯 —

Atlas is very musically inclined. He plays the guitar and the drums, and later on joins a band with Kokoa and Kau’i. They have frequent gigs and for a while it’s his one source of employment throughout everything.

He loves junk food. His favourite type of food is surprisingly McDonalds, as that’s what he first tried after getting out of Eden for the first time.

Atlas is obsessed with movies. Although he’s not very media literate (what being apart of a cult all your life will do to you), he loves watching them for fun. Some of his favourites are old cheesy rom-coms, something you’d least expect from the hardened soldier.

Alastair cannot handle spicy foods at all. He’s someone who has only ever eaten food from the church and the orphanage so he has built up no tolerance. Wren had him try a hot cheeto once and he almost cried and gagged on it for a minute straight.

Thinks dogs are really cool. He’s never seen one in real life before though.

He developed no hobbies outside of studying files in the archives so when he leaves the church, he finds himself unable to pass the time and tends to spiral in his own thoughts. This often results in panic attacks but he doesn't want to embarrass himself in front of Atlas and Wren and so he hides his face in his shirt and holds in his own breaths until he’s gagging and shaking.

🩹 —

Atlas and Alastair both have a myriad of mental issues/disabilities. A large part of their arc revolves around this, and it’s something that the both of them have to overcome over the course of the story.

Atlas is formally diagnosed with both c-PTSD and PTSD, resulting from extreme trauma throughout his childhood and the result of living through a war, and becoming a prisoner to Eden. He is also diagnosed with amnesia from brain damage when he is 18, something that affects him for many years after the fact. Because of his brain damage he is also very susceptible to concussions and migraines, and especially sensitive to light. This grows worse as he ages.

Atlas was also written to be autistic-coded, although he doesn’t ever recieve an “official” diagnosis for it.

Alastair is diagnosed with depression by the time he is about 23, although it was something he struggled with for most of his life. He also deals with heavy suicidal ideation by the time he is 21, and it only becomes worse as time wears on. Alastair, although never formally diagnosed, is selectively mute, something which he’s had to deal with since he was about 5-years-old. He develops agoraphobia in his early 20’s as well, something that dictates his life for a long time.

Overall Alastair deals with a lot of mental health issues, although he doesn’t actually get a name for a lot of them. Like Atlas, he is meant to be autistic-coded, though he is also OCD and anxiety coded, and could be read as having paranoia. And as a result of the war, he does deal with PTSD symptoms.

tldr; atlas and alastair are extremely mentally ill and do NOT have the time to deal with it

Atlas and Alastair also end up with quite a few physical disabilities, as result of living through a war.

Atlas ends up losing his right arm when he is 18, and wears a prosthetic for the rest of his life. He also suffers from nerve damage in his right hand, having very bad grip control and frequently experiencing tremors. His vocal cords suffer a lot of damage from the electric collar he was forced to wear at Eden, and he ends up losing his left eye, later wearing a prosthetic. Overall his body ends up pretty damaged by the time the war is over, and he deals with chronic pain for the rest of his life.

Alastair struggles with extreme chronic pain post-canon. He loses his left leg near the end of the war, as well as suffers severe burns to the left side of his face which renders him blind in that eye. His body never fully recovers from the injuries that he sustains while in the final battle circa 2043.

💙 —

I’m not sure if I’ve ever fully went into depth with what exactly their powers are, but both of them are Magicus, which means they were born with a power.

Atlas has power absorption. He can mimic others abilities and use them as his own. While this is ability is activated the other person’s power is weaker than it usually would be. In some examples he can mimic physical abilities of humans as well, which in turn drains their energy. And while his power is in use, his eyes glow.

Alastair has void. He is able to change the mass of his body into literal shadow. While in his shadow form, he can see everything — time, space, the makeup of the universe itself.

Although they both have powers, their ideologies when it comes to magic contrasts greatly.

Atlas sees nothing wrong with his powers, having been raised in an environment where it was normalized. He frequently had to train using his power, and activating it is like something as simple as breathing to him. He uses it almost every day as it gives him an advantage on the battlefield, and isn’t afraid to use it if it means winning a fight or completing his mission.

Alastair, on the other hand, doesn’t want anything to do with his powers. He hates using them — refuses to do so, actually. He has sworn to himself that he won’t become like what everyone else had thought of him. He doesn’t have really any control over them because of this, and is not nearly as experienced as Atlas is. He views his powers as more of a curse than a gift, opposite of Atlas.

(Ironic, considering Atlas comes from Eden, which is strict about magic and thinks it’s something to be controlled, not used. While Alastair comes from the Congregation, which is proud about their status as Magicae.)

starting w my princess, cschlatt's connections to other characters is like....the stuff he has with cclingy is CRAZY!! they both admired him so much, they parallel him directly! when he first joined the server, he was taking selfies w them, indulging them and riffing with them, and i've seen ppl argue abt this but the actual reason he built the cuck shed in the dsmp was FOR cclingy, to make them laugh! he talked to them for hours after he was banned off the server in just earnest connection.

and while ofc he made mistakes w tubbo, those mistakes are not uniquely evil as they're ones characters (like cwilbur) KEPT MAKING both DURING the pogtopia-manburg war and then long after it ended. he sees tubbo as smone who was also slighted by cwilbur, and it's not a coincidence everyone is his cabinet was. he wanted to toughen him up so he wouldn't go through the same things he has! that want to make him stronger vs the self hate he feels for himself and how that leaks into the ints he has w smone he sees as similar vs the earnestly seeing him as a pal and feeling deep betrayal at the ctubbo feeding pog information. (cschlatt actually Knew ctubbo was sneaking off, that he was talking to ctommy, and he was fine w that + he actively let him!! 😭 it was only when he found out ctubbo was a traitor did he start crumbling.)

he pawned off hurting him to ctech, the same way cwilbur did to ctommy in the pit, two deeply psychotic dudes being used as playthings, with their backs against the wall, hurting their little guy in the process but not being able to bring themselves to do it so they get smone else in hopes that'll put a stop to it, only for the guy to values HIS OWN SELF above anyone else and do it anyways. and then they both kill themselves with guilt forever about it. cschlatt loses a LIFE during the festival, that's how much this was weighing on him, and then when he revives he's still so delusional he forgets what happened and calls for tubbo. like. ofc, that's not an awesome thing to have happened, but the rest of the factors are unignorable.

and tubbo to him...despite how ctubbo compartmentalizes those who hurt him, (grinning and bearing ctech n cphil for safety but throwing them under the bus to cwilbur for safety), the way he ints w schlatt is noticeably... different. he takes and agrees w his policies, keeps most of them as new lmanberg and admits they were good, he feels guilty about going against him, doesn't think he's all that bad and he gets punished for that! he goes as far to point out and realize cschlatt is being scapegoated for the situation in the first place, same as he was as president! (ofc to a different extent)

with ctommy, he would actively join calls w the kid and hang out DURING MANBURG!! 😭 ctommy would mildly snipe at him At Most and cschlatt would go ehhh you suck too buddy. and then they'd just chill together. he invited ctommy to manburg, for god's sake. ctommy is also one of the characters who continues to bring up cschlatt in a positive light, even up to his final streams saying things like cschlatt was his hero and it's CWILBUR'S FAULT that everything went to shit surrounding that.. they have sm in common, their relationships to others their posturing the way they joke around, the struggles with addiction and having their control and personhood ripped away URWGH

and with wilbur....like v v point blank one of the reasons they spiral so bad (aside frm being sabotaged by bigger forces than themselves + being deeply sick and mentally ill), was THE BETRAYAL OF EACHOTHER!!! look at the stuff i wrote for them above!!! they die on the same day, they directly fling shit at eachother constantly personally spitefully they Know eachother and it's all coming frm a place of hurt. he broke my heart how could he do this to me how could he use me as a prop how could he let me down my loverboy my pretty princess are you SERIOUS? glatt n ghostbur were hanging out together and glatt is seen reminiscing on him with fondness and nostalgia like can we get real. and they have textual sauce in smplive too don't start w me.

ponk being a quack doctor cat murderer but she tried as cschlatt's medic, she even shows remorce abt not being better for him,,,and he likes her right back, he's like extremely nice to her and even offers to make her a floor of emeralds for what he's done for him. THE GUY WHO USES EMRALDS TO MARK THINGS OF VALUE? cnikis letter to him, saying she wishes him well, that she hopes he's resting smwhere smhow....tch. TCH.

starting w cq...like i've gone over this before and iwill again. his relationship with cclingy helps define his entire shit he LOVES those kids he does RIDICULOUS things for them in mind.

the reason cq even joins is bcs of a tommy invite, his first appearance is actually a vc where he and tommy are chattering and stealing...they already know eachother, they're already fond of eachother! and alongside the good times, cq's there for every horrible thing tht ctommy is subjected to, he visits him in exile he's there on the grid when cdrm shows his ass abt what he's doing to him, why he's doing it, he finds out ctommy died the day it happened and goes numb and then CRAZY and when he sees him revived, he's practically crying with joy.

one of the reasons for butcher army even existed was the being able to help ctommy! he wants to kill cdrm and to do that he needs to kill ctech, an active threat and accomplice to cdrm! he failed ofc, but the intent was blatantly there. and later in the custody stream, when ctommy confronts him bcs of it, not knowing why the butcher army didn't just go get him when they couldn't, when the killing of figures putting him in danger was FOR that, he'd RATHER LET CTOMMY BELIEVE HE DIDN'T TRY AT ALL THAN WEAPONIZE EXILE FOR HIM. he wanted to kill cdrm outright for what he did to ctommy, he was a seconds away from it, and then when other forces push him into the torture, he's seen using a potato as a blunt weapon to drive his points home. like what do you think that means. he pulls himself frm ccharlie's death and disappearance and the first thing he does is go tell ctommy he'll protect him, that he can always come to lnv....killing myse. self. and ctommy cares abt cq too, he relies in him, he trusts him, he gave him one of the only slash hugs he's ever given he deduces that cq is a torturer by pure chance and still rocks w him and even like actively encourages it bro does NOT care abt his crimes 😭 that's his buddy i fear

OKAY. I'm gonna turn into a bachelor of yappology here so bear with me ☝️🤓

🌹 Charlotte 'Jade' Le Jardin 🌹

Initially, I wanted to name her 'Roxanne'. Some of you might know this, but Jade used to be my original story's main character called Louisa. BUT, Louisa's initial name was Roxanne. I didn't know why, but elementary school me liked Roxanne so much (I didn't even know that it's also a song title by The Police back then HAHAH). I wanted a very recognizable name, but I think it was a bit much, so I switched to Charlotte because of Charlotte Bronte, the writer. Also, it turns out that 'Charlotte' means 'free man', it's pretty cool since Jade's story is mainly about breaking free from MI6's influence and shackles along with her parents. Meanwhile, Le Jardin was the result of Jade's family's occupation as a florist. I mean, it's a fake last name anyway as they were making an entirely new identity after escaping from MI6.

Jade was literally just because she had a green eyes, but I felt it's too cliche so I made an entirely new black division of MI6 where each agent is named of a type of ore/jewel. Plus, Jade is just easy to pronounce and recognizable, perfect for communication purpose!

🐞 Eleanor 'Ladybug' Graham 🐞

Eleanor's name came up just out of the blue from my mind. I drew Lady's design first, and then decided to make a name for her, and it's either Eleanor or Claudia, and I thought Claudia doesn't suit her at all, so I stayed with Eleanor. Eleanor means 'Light-hearted' or 'shining light', kind of goes along with her 'take-it-easy' attitude and how she's a medic and becomes the light of hope for the wounded. The surname Graham is literally just my obsession with Will Graham from Hannibal. My 14-16 year old ahh was obsessed with NBC Hannibal, and Will held a special place in my heart LOL.

When I created Ladybug, I knew I wanted a special and a cheeky callsign for her to pair with Gaz. I never really liked bugs, but I thought back then that a ladybug's shape and pattern is so damn cute and endearingly silly. So I just went with Ladybug. AND THEN, The NFC Championship 2023 game happened between 49ers vs Lions. Brandon Aiyuk caught a pass from Brock Purdy after the ball straight up bounced from Kindle Vildor's helmet, which resulted in a touchdown in the next play. At the interview post game, Aiyuk said "a ladybug landed on my shoe." JUST THEN I KNEW THAT LADYBUG MEANS 'GOOD LUCK'. And then the gears on my brain turned, and I can connect with how Gaz is always unfortunately hanging/falling from an aircraft, be it an airplane or a helicopter. The fact that he's always came out ALIVE after those events just tell me, there's gotta be a ladybug that's always with him 24/7!

🔥 Barandos 'Bara' Tarigan 🔥

For Bara, I just KNOW that his name's gotta be Bara because there's a celebrity chef from Indonesia called Bara Patirajawane, and it's such a sick name that I just had to make it into a name of my OC HAHAH. Bara also means 'fire embers' and it's pretty cool ngl. Tarigan is a Batak tribe surname (I'm half Batak from my name), so I just wanna have that element on my OC.

⏳ Silja Freyrsdottir ⏳

For Silja, I actually had quite a hardtime to name my OC. I didn't know what her appeareance yet, her story yet, and like what her role was in the God of War Ragnarok storyline. So I started to think of what goddess she was, and I wanted it to be close to Heimdall, so the Goddess of Memory and Remembrance it was. I then searched for that kind of god in the Norse mythology, and I didn't really find anyone that came close to what I imagined, so I just started from sratch. I sketched her character, and as I draw her I make up a story in my mind. Oh, she's an adventurer, a rogue princess, hmmm from what realm, Alfheim? Let's do that cuz I love Freyr. I wanted her name to be either 'Silja' which ironically means 'blind', or Ragnhild, which means 'battlecounsel'. QUICKLY I feel that Ragnhild sounded to professional for her adventurous character. Silja sounded so right, and her name could be like a contradiction to what her ability is, which is seeing people's pasts, but blind to the present (a flaw much like Heimdall's).

Tribal Chief - Solosami/Zakoa fic ☝️

Warnings: family drama, mentions of samijey, angst (Sami is torn between Jey and Solo), past relationships, first kiss, and hurt comfort.

Word count: 2,468

Authors note: uhm, because of the lack of any content? I thought their dynamic was always cute and now with Solo as tribal chief I'm even more curious to explore it.

Summary: After an intense confrontation with Jey leaves Sami reeling, he seeks out to play his ever present peacemaker role. And meeting Solo again in his new tribal chief role brings up unresolved and old emotions for both parties.

“Well Sami, you wouldn't understand. ‘Cause you're not family, uce.”

Those words stung worse than any hit he had ever taken, like a knife had been dug directly into his heart. It burned his soul and brought a downcasted feeling to his very being like Jey had spit on everything the two of them had created. Just months ago they were teaming with each other to face common threats. The weight lifted from their shoulders with the departure of Roman and Sami had proudly watched the color return to Jey's face as he flourished without his cousin.

It had positively elated Sami like no other watching him holding aloft his first singles championship after defeating Bron. He remembered how enthusiastically he had embraced and eagerly calmed down Jey from the overwhelming emotions of winning. He remembered holding him and getting lost in joy seeing the light on his eyes. Jey was happy.

And so was he.

But as Roman and Jimmy slowly began to make their way back into the picture it almost felt like a switch had been pulled in Jey. To Sami he had a hunch that even with months away from Roman there was a part of Jey who still lurked with those old right hand man tendencies. The aggression, the hatred, the compliance, and the cruelty that Roman had groomed. All of it was still there even under the fact Jey had gotten away.

Perhaps he was being a bit quick to pin the blame but he wouldn't be all to surprised if Jimmy's presence and influence was already weaseling its way back into Jey's mind. He knew his twin was temperamental and sometimes didn't always think with his head before doing things, but even more so now it seemed the older Uso’s hostility had gotten worse. Could you blame him for not trusting Sami after he betrayed Roman? It was only fair it seemed like he had spit on the family that he had been let into.

A part of him believed that perhaps Jimmy may never understand the full layers of trauma inflicted on him and Jey by staying in Roman's presence. A part of him wished he could see under the armor and hoped a part of Jimmy knew everything Roman had done was wrong even if he was to hard headed to see it now.

But now after fretting his very well intentioned worry to Jey over the situation he was instead met with aggression and hostility where there had been none for months. And it had scared him into silence even staring as he saw the flicker of regret linger on those hazel eyes before he was left reeling. His relationship with Jey since leaving the Bloodline had really been up in a debate due to his friendship (fragile) with Kevin and Jey's independence now trying to solidify his singles career. They had been on and off dating? If you could call what they did dating due to their schedules and now the current family situation that had been boiling since Bad Blood.

They had always been super affectionate whether it being hugs or kisses. He knew Jey was still recovering just as he was from Roman's hold so they had been taking it slow and when Jey had requested he needed time he had respectfully agreed. Both of them in stress for different reasons but reasons all the same with people they cared about.

However what he couldn't wrap his head around was Jimmy and Roman spewing and hammering the idea that Solo was the worst. The more or less lesser of evil as Sami saw it. He wasn't stupid or blinded by his past with Roman nor as much as he loved Jey would he allow it to cloud his judgment. He knew Solo was far from being worse than the treatment that everyone in the Bloodline had received by the hands of the OTC. Solo never used his power to manipulate, he didn't rule through fear for his Bloodline, he didn't cheat much, never gaslighting, and he never treated anyone with less respect than he expected to himself. Yet he was the bad guy here.

Sami and Solo had been close in the original Bloodline during his time teaming and becoming close with the rest of the men. He had always known Solo as the quiet guy only ever being the one to carry out the dirty work. Though he knew Solo was destined for greatness the moment he came to NXT. He remembered how delighted he was just to see the smallest quirk of his lips from his silly quips or jokes and how excited he had become when Solo called him, ‘his dawg.’ If anything to Sami he knew somewhere in that cold demeanor that Solo cared maybe even had loved him as family too.

But now standing backstage aimlessly walking he felt lost in what to do in the midst of what seemed like the reforming of the original Bloodline. It all felt surreal and to him he was frustrated, so frustrated. He was afraid even for Jimmy because for the past few SmackDown’s and PLE’s Roman had shown no changes let alone uttered the word ‘i’m sorry’ to either Jimmy or Jey. He wanted to shake sense into the younger twin because he saw how unapologetic Roman remained on not being any different then the man that had caused so much heartache.

The man who drove away his own family.

Sami was so lost in his own turmoil and mind that he hadn't processed the fact someone was calling his name till now. He slowed his pace and blinked back the raging storm in his mind as he turned to gaze behind himself and frowned. And to his surprise there was the man himself, someone he hadn't talked to since he had betrayed the Bloodline.

Solo.

To his surprise it wasn't an aggressive or hostile approach like his brothers and cousin, it was open and relaxed. His stance comfortable and radiating a confidence Sami had never seen in his time as the enforcer. It was pleasing to see how much Sikoa had grown into his own as the new Tribal Chief and even more so to see him free of the position that he and previously the Uso's had believed was holding him back.

“Solo, hey man.” Zayn chuckled feeling a bit awkward at first as he ran a hand over the neck of his neck and gave an apologetic smile as he shifted to his feet. “Listen, about Roman and the betrayal I-” He had began feeling the need to bury the hatchet and give an apology that was needed or so he felt was. But to his surprise he was cut short by Solo holding up a finger to quiet him as he shook his head.

“No Sami, that's not necessary.” Solo started with a monotone tone that wasn't rude, just a bit firm in the way he said it. He raised a hand to rub his jaw as he stepped forward and gazed up towards Sami with a serious look. “I don't care about what you did, I understand.” He added calmly and gave a half smile as he lowered his hand back to his side.

Sami felt a bit of relief tug on his heart but his nerves still danced at the sight of the Tongans and especially from the intense almost feral stare down from the Samoan Werewolf, Jacob Fatu. He was still wary about Solo's new Bloodline despite the non aggressive (mostly) way they handled themselves and the unfamiliarity of the cousins Solo had brought in.

Solo, having caught on to the unease and slight fidget under the gaze of his Bloodline, gave a short chuckle. He turned his head and gave a small gesture to Jacob who lessened his murderous stare and opted to look on readily. “Hey, don't let them intimidate you, Sam. They are harmless and they're with me.” He reassured him holding a hand in a dirt of placating gesture. “These are my cousins, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.” He stepped slightly to the side and gestured a hand out.

Tama nodded his head in response and grinned widely as he kept his hands folded in front of himself while his brother Tonga simply nodded. The pair of them a famous tag team Sami has heard of a few times from NJPW and from Cody from time to time. They were mostly quiet and just there it seemed, so unlike the energy he had felt from Jimmy and Jey constant almost bubby energy. They were calm and focused nothing to out of note except the odd growling and sounds Tama occasionally gave out.

“And this.” Solo smiled proudly and placed a hand on Jacob's shoulder as he looked at Sami. “Is Jacob, he's my enforcer and another one of my cousins.” He nodded and patted the tense man with a proud look.

Jacob flipped his dreads out his face almost too aggressively and gave a small grunt of acknowledgement as he stood there. Seemingly always on edge or ready for a fight as he moved his leg slightly restlessly at his side as he eyed the Canadian with an underlying suspension but made no comment.

Sami still felt no more relaxed but in all honesty he trusted Solo’s judgment and that proud smile almost made him want to grin too. It seemed so foreign to watch the stoic former enforcer smile and joke so freely like his brothers. It made Sami wonder if Solo had been keeping a part of himself hidden under the leadership of Roman just to keep up appearances. Though now seeing him so relaxed and happy made him feel the same amount of pride as he had for Jey. At least some more good had come out of his betrayal.

“Yeah well I'm so glad to see you coming into your own Solo. You deserved everything, especially being tribal chief.” Sami smiled earnestly with a heartfelt tone as he gestured towards the ula fala Solo now adorned. “My tribal chief.” He added a bit cheekily as he grinned a bit, feeling his heart race at the way Sikoa seemed to perk up and puff up proudly from the acknowledgement.

Solo nodded in approval and looked to both sides of him, getting a nod from both Tongans as he gave a genuine laugh. “See! It's not hard but everyone seems to think it's impossible. Still acknowledging Roman like he ain't done anything wrong.” He scoffed and shook his head feeling frustrated with people still hating him despite him not doing anything to be hateable in his eyes.

“I feel like I'm in a crazy dream when I heard the others act like you had set the plague or something compared to Roman.” Sami nodded along feeling like he was finally heard as he expressed his frustrations to the younger sibling. His eyes still wary and his tone tired as he sighed, rubbing his temples just shaking his head. “I dunno Solo, Jey is acting all hostile again and Jimmy acts like I'm still the worst..and I just..” He sighed letting his shoulders slump in defeat as he resigned himself to the idea that Jey might just fall back into old habits.

Solo seeing this had softened and sighed as he nodded along with a disappointed yet knowing look in his eyes. His gaze sympathetic as he stepped forward and placed his hands on Sami's shoulders gently but firmly. “You are family to me Sam, my dawg…everything.” He empathized, squeezing his shoulders and ducked his gaze trying to catch Sami's eyes. “I want you in my Bloodline Sami, I know tensions are high and you want to be with Jey when this is all said and done but we both know Roman ain't no different then when you left.”

The sincerity in his tone and words caught him by surprise and he felt the hurt get a bit of balm soothed by the blonde as he was speaking. His logical side screamed to agree and let things play out but still his heart was he might betray Jey worse and drive him more into Roman by joining Sikoa. Though a deeper more pained side of himself reared its head and he felt anger and frustration from the stress bubbling dangerously.

Was this the right call?

Sami ultimately felt his resolve waver and his emotions washed over him as his eyes locked with the intense yet soft gaze of Solo. His heart torn but knowing that he'd only hurt himself more by letting himself be lured back into Roman's Bloodline. The actions to both to Kevin and Jey, three years of trauma and torment. He loved Jey but he was tired and the family drama felt like a weight he couldn't escape even now.

His own body worked accordingly almost on autopilot as he leaned forward and hugged Solo feeling a sense of comfort wash over his battered soul feeling the tight yet real hug given by the new tribal chief. It was full of more love and meaning than Reigns had ever tried to give in the past. Was he really evil? He felt his body melt slightly as he closed his eyes, giving a shaky sigh as he frowned, feeling Solo's gloved fingers thread through his ginger locks.

The warm and firmness of the bigger Samoan was grounding and he felt his stress slowly melting as the ghost of a shiver run up his back when Solo's breath fanned over his ear. His words soft spoken comfort and reassurance as he gazed over Sami's shoulder to share a silent message to the other members of his Bloodline.

Zayn hadn't even registered what was happening till he felt tentative yet gentle fingers running in his beard and cupping his cheeks with the smooth gloves. His eyes flicking to meet the stoic gaze that was Solo and for a moment his heart skipped and he swallowed thickly as the other man leaned forward and ghosted a tentative kiss to his lips before pulling back. It almost seemed fearful and hesitant as if expecting rejection but softening seeing none. Solo was much more soft and affectionate then Sami had expected especially since in their time in the Bloodline there wasn't a lot of tension at least he hadn't felt it unless he never noticed Sikoa’s attraction.

It was wrong but…

It felt nice.

But unnoticed by the group there was a figure standing at the corner of the hallway staring on at the interaction. Their hand tightening into the temple of pink ‘yeet’ glasses making them creak under the pressure till they turned and stalked off silently down the other way.

Just a long (?) ramble about Malenia, Godrick and my vision of them. Part of it, really. I've never bothered to explain my vision cause I can't write for the life of me, but I feel like my art is not doing them justice. Too sweet, too fluff, but i can't bring myself to draw anything serious. Even though there is nothing to be overly happy in their situation xD

This ramble probably won't explain everything but at least chunk of my thought prosses, ig.

Sooo I am long due to explain of why I'm so fond of Mal/Rick and why I think they could work. Not in the sense of being a happy couple with a happy ending, in love forever or something like that but in the sense that they are much more alike in my eyes that it may seem.

So I've always been fond of Malenia and peoples interpretation of her character. As much as I love her being portrayed as this strong silent type too, I've always welcomed more artworks where she was smiling, genuinely, laughing or otherwise was happy. I wasn't thinking as to why such art brings me that much more joy than literally any other art with her.

Until it'd dawned on me - it's because she's not as strong as she wants everyone to think she is. Don't get me wrong - it doesn't have anything to do with her skills of a warrior. She is strong swordswoman, well-trained, highly skilled and really deadly, but what I'm speaking of is her character.

Malenia is a weak person in my eyes.

I can explain.

To me she strongly depends on others not only in terms of surviving but in terms of existing too. She needs Miquella to fight of her curse, to prevent it from claiming her body, to ease the pain, but she also needs him to be her guiding light in life, someone she could fully rely on, someone to believe in. She needs an anchor. And she has the need to belive in somebody (here - Miquella) so strongly that she devoted her whole life to her brother. She's nothing without him. Like really. What does she stand for? What are her goals, her motives to do anything? Why she has been training? Why has she ever done anything that she had in-game? You can answer all of that easily, with a name - Miquella.

Her ideals are Miquella's ideals, her vision of the future is Miquella's vision, her life path - Miquella's, even her name. She gave herself a title of blade of her light in the darkness and refused any other.

Yes, weak sounds harsh.

But this devotion is unhealthy to me. She is willing to sacrifice herself even in the most painfull way - by blooming - not to protect her brother's life, but to accomplish one single step of his plan. I hope you understand my thought.

And I know it's fork found in the kitchen, but I think it's important to understand Malenia's character, to see what she really is (to me!!) - a scared, little girl who knew nothing but pain in her life, who grew to be dependable on one person that truly cared about her and really helped her to the extent of devoting her whole being to him. (disclaimer - I believe that Marika and Radagon were willing to aid her and were doing as much as they could, but it just wasn't enough)

And because that's how I see Malenia I really wish there were somebody else beside one person in her life that would stay with her, accept her for who she is.

And this is when I think of Godrick.

Among others too.

Buy you see, yes, of course he is jealous of her strength, despite knowing that that divine strength of her's is a blessing in disguise. He is jealous of her rank due to her being empyrean. But honestly? He probably doesn't think that much of her. The golden lineage is a true royal lineage in his eyes. The only one worthy. Especially when you refer to the cut dialog.

So if her struggles and her life in constant pain and fear would be ever known to him (she didn't ever show that to any person other than Miquella and parents), would he sympathize? I think yes, he's an ass, but he has a heart, c'mon. Would he consider her his equal? No, but he never did. Would he think of her less though? I also think no, that human side of her would be even weirdly appreciated.

And next I think of that one subtle thing they have in common - pretence. They both are lying to themselves about who they really are, they so, so want to be someone else.

Malenia wants to be the blade, the shield to protect Miquella, though she is the one being protected and she knows it. She tries to cast aside her weaknesses and be strong, but all she can do is follow and wait. Bring Miquella's vision into life as much as she can.

And Godrick? Oh he too so doesn't want to be himself. He wants to be a golden prodigy, an heir, he wants to be recognized, to belong to a family, to a lineage that honestly didn't give a shit about him, to be someone the likes of Godfrey or Godwyn. He so desperately wants to be someone who he's not and he knows the latter.

Can you see my vision? They could have understood each other (if not fully, then in this regard at the very least) if only they could see this insecure side of theirs. But alas they never will. They both are too stubborn, too willing to bury this weakness of theirs deep down, to pretend.

So tldr they are absolute failures and I love them xD But real, I hope that may clarify a thing or two for those, who are here to see this ship (sort of eh)

Large 1 am thought dump about the ghovie under the cut (contains spoilers) (it really is large and pretty disorganized and a bit random)

The theater was PACKED!! The session I went to was almost fully sold out. There were cosplayers where I went too, it was great. No merch available unfortunately, but hey I didn't even expect it to show in my country so I'm very pleased.

(downside: no popcorn because if we tried to get popcorn we would have been late. The popcorn line basically took over the cinema's entry hall. The ghovie coincided with a bunch of parents taking their kids to see inside out which made for a funny mix at the waiting line).

I basically didn't know anything about what to expect but it was so cool. I'M JUST SAD I COULDN'T GET THE LAST QR CODE IN TIME SIGH BUT IT'S OKAY!!

I went with my dad and he loved it. This is the first movie we watched in a theater that he somehow didn't fall asleep in the middle of LOL.

The downside: as usual, sexual innuendos were a bit awkward to witness when your father is sitting right next to you. That didn't stop me from enjoying anything though dkkskfkdk

I kind of wish the people in my session had been more... Idk I mean it was basically a concert right!! I was expecting more singing and stuff. I normally hate loudness but in these contexts I really like it, but judging by the wait line we were all nerds so it makes sense why no one was extroverted enough for that.

(We did all laugh sometimes and also everyone groaned at the cliffhanger which was funny) (twice, once when the screen turned black and then when the lights of the theater turned back on) (everyone waited)

I did unfortunately also conclude that there's like a 90% chance that I could not ever actually go to a Ghost concert (or most big concerts) because of the lights* �� (autism). I just looked away whenever it got too much but I was also kind of transfixed but regardless I had fun.

*well, really thinking about it I would probably already be overwhelmed just by being in that big of a crowd. Then having to listen to it scream the whole time would have probably kill me so there's that

I got so scared that Copia was going to die at the end. My heart was beating so fast nearing the end and when the balloon thing start I was like It's Over. Then it wasn't!

(In my heart I kind of knew Tobias wasn't going to do that because we are all very attached to him at this point and I would imagine he is too)

Oughhh ouch now I'm craving cinema popcorn so bad I wish I could have seen the movie while eating popcorn.

It was nice to get the confirmation that Copia really is Nihil and Sister's son (even though we all knew).

When they were in that box thing I thought that Nihil was going to possess him. I was expecting for him to possess him when he did the pose too for some reason.

I was like wow I will be completely normal about this I'm not even autistic about Ghost anymore. Then I sat down on the chair and immediately was fighting back tears. Apparently I can never be Normal About Things (specifically Things That I Like a Lot).

Edit #2: The ghovie had no ads before it. Like at all. I was pleasantly surprised but also feel bad for the people that went into it a bit late thinking they wouldn't miss anything because the ads usually take minutes.

Edit #3: Another reason that makes me think that I'd die at a real Ghost concert is that the music is probably very loud as well, and while my brain dislikes loud music that I like less than the other loud things, it's still not immune to it. Thinking about it, it's crazy that somehow I didn't feel overwhelmed by the sounds in the ghovie once, considering that usually that happens at least once in every movie I see on the theater. Idk if it's just me or they just made it like that, but I'm VERY pleased about that too.
